Telsa S is about 86k US. very nice car but well..

nono...depends on the motor.

In Canada, the 48 kWh motor is $60k, the 68 kWh motor is $70k, and then if you want the 85 kWh, it's $80k. for $90k, you get an 85 kWh PLUS motor.

While, I have adored the Tesla S since I knew of its existence (my dp has been the Model S since 2008?) I still can't help but think, that waiting for it to become more mainstream is the way to go.

Nothing against Elon Musk, but a lot of the tech is still very new. That, and too many purposefully negative reviews from the press have come out. Waiting for the law of averages to kick in and some more press members give them positive reviews, especially on reliability.

I saw one of the Tesla sports cars at a local county fair. It looked incredible on the outside but it has really cheap interiors.

The telsa name is genius
they managed to associate themselves with a great and rebellious innovator in Tesla..
but do they really have any association with him or his work??
