A380 In-flight Kitchen Taipei Restaurant

The A380 In-flight Kitchen, a restaurant named after the giant Airbus airliner, in Taipei. An entrepreneur in Taipei has run exactly this service since November, packing in the passengers, as a restaurant that looks and almost functions like an airliner but sells a full menu's worth of high-end Western food, sometimes in plastic trays.

the important thing is whether it tastes like crap like most airline foods do.

The only in flight foods I didn't hate was from Korean Air and Japan Air. And that's only because I really like japanese and korean food. If I was japanese or korean who ate it everyday I probably woulda thought that was shit too.

seriously, do the people in first class or business get decent quality food?

well seeing as how they don't have to mass produce the stuff and then freeze it to be served 10,000 ft in the air, i expect it to take at least somewhat decent...

FYI, alcohol is free in economy as well, you just don't have as much of a selection as you do in business/first, just like the food.

In planes such as these, there is no kitchen to prepare. All the meals are all prepared in advance and are kept warm inside mobile ovens. When they about to serve them, they take the plates out and gently reheats them before serving. Thats why all the food takes like crap and why the steaks are always dry hehe.

wow.. funny way to do this..

well the food on a plane (economy class is crappy) but if u go to business or first class.. the food does taste better, unlimited alcohol, and fun till you land lol ~ that's why if i go travel.. I must get bclass or 1class

and remember.. the food will taste somehow crappy because u r eating in a very high altitude..
i dont know why, but even the best wines they offer taste bad.. I m sure it's due to the altitude
so when u want alcohol.. get vodka or something strong to mix with.. =p they give you a small bottle... =P and you can ask for more if you finish it
