College Food?
What food do you guys make while being in college. Something that is fast to make that doesn't cost too much.
I usually go for instant cup noodles from Mama but those ones aren't very healthy when eating for a long period of time.

Seriously, learn to go to the grocery store and cook real food. There is always so many deals, and you can cook a lot of meals out of it.

Make your own version of ramen. First, cook asian noodles or spaghetti. On separate saucepan, boil water and use Miso paste to make the soup and add
chicken or beef and vegetables. Then drain the noodles and put them in the soup. Also boil an egg if you want. The only draw back with making this is
that you have to boil water.

Just cook a week's worth of pasta and eat it throughout the week. That way you eat "healthy" and don't have to cook everyday.

You can invest in two crucial cooking devices that are very clean and easy to manage: Electronic Rice Cooker (Zoirushi - Literally, Elephant Brand, if
you can afford it) and Toaster Oven.
You can cook rice, noodle, boil eggs to sausages, steam vegetables or even fry some other food, if you want. It's seriously the best thing you can
have - My ex lived off rice cooker in University of Vermont for 4 years.
Another items is Toaster Oven. It's not just for toats - You can roast a whole baby chicken to even mackerels in this baby.
With above two items - you can grocery shop and eat REAL food and none of these unhealthy food. Yes, Subway is nice every now and then but COME on -
Can you live off Subway for a whole year? That's just gross. Plus once you get used to cooking, each meal should cost you under 2-3 bucks if you
shop properly - and even Subway can't beat that price! Not to mention you can choose your own portion, so you don't gain extra love handles.

for me it was pasta.
load up your cabinets with tomato sauce(NOT spaghetti sauce which is usually crap) and barilla pasta noodles(use only barilla, real shit from
Italia)
its insanely easy to cook. just dump whatever you want in with the tomato sauce and try out new recipes. few easy ones are;
canned tuna and carrots
bell peppers and olives
ground beef and basil
or watever you want. this is what I did. I also made a lot of risotto insalata and farfelle pasta.
