Murderbox 008 - ultimate custom fabricated computer
As the title states, this computer had practically no limit for costs to build it.. should definitely check out the worklog documentation of building
this monstrosity here.
All the pictures can be found on the worklog, or at GM,
where I found it. (GM only has completed product pictures in a gallery)
Here's 8 of the best ones I think that describes it's awesomeness... [we need a drooling smiley]

Damn... If you're going to go with the 975 and only x2 SLI then may as well replace the GTX285 with 295s.

I like the design.. but could be better to use bigger HDD's .. may as well, since it's going monster-style
Egalitarianism is merely an illusion.

wizxzit - Going to GTX 295's would be nice, since those video cards have two GPU's on each, and in turn, it would be a quad sli. However the 285's
are the fastest single core cards on the market, so maybe instead of processing power for rendering, it may be that the client wanted faster frame
rates on games or such.
howard22 - bigger drives aren't the issue here, do you realize that each SSD drive in there costs about $500? The SSD drives are all practically 8
times faster than traditional SATA drives and have a longer lifetime as well. The drives are also set up in a raid0 that makes them even faster, while
crash-proof. It's all about performance here. Please read up on SSD's and raid0 before making such a remark. (some benchmarks for raid0 ssd's are
here if you can understand them http://hothardware.com/Articles/Fusionio-vs-Intel-X25M-SSD-RAID-Grudge-Match/?page=4 )
oxy5 - the blue stuff is a special liquid that is not too prone to evaporate. Since water has better heat conductivity than air, using water to cool
computer components would be much better than fans and heatsinks. The tubes carry the liquid to every component in the computer and then to a radiator
in the bottom of the case to cool the liquid for another round, another bonus of this system is that's its much quieter. This system is especially
neat in hiding wires and showing off its liquid cooling with the cool reservoir tanks.
lol.. i guess not too many people here appreciates a super clean build such as this.. it's way too professional.

on the site it was like base price = $6k, but with all the fabrication on this one, they said it's 2-3 times that price. (especially with the
components lol..)

I agree, and so much more powerful and beastly of a system too!
I love the slick look. Haha, I want one of those but need $$. *sigh*
