Brushing Teeth - Artificial Sugar

Does anyone here know whether I still would need to brush my teeth after drinking water with artificial sugar e.g. Sweet n'Low, Splenda, Equal Sweetener?

I always think that it might not be good for your body but for your teeth?

If your mouth feels gritty afterwards, couldn't hurt to brush.

If you were drinking something soda, you definitely should brush or rinse at the minimum. Soda has acids (ie. phosphoric/citric) that will eat away at your enamel.

you shouldn't brush right away after having acids in your mouth..
because the acids soften the enamel, you should wait at least 30mins for the acids to fade in your saliva before you brush your teeth.
